Bow to the Gherkin
Check out these cupcakes that Miss Gherkin made for knitting last night. How awesome is she? I lent her my fav cupcake cookbook of all time and she made the vegan vanilla cupcake recipe along with vegan chocolate buttercream frosting and then decorated with the most awesome marzipan evah. I mean EVAH! More details at her blog.

i did change the cupcake recipe to include more almond extract to tie in with the marzipan...it was 1 tsp vanilla and 1 1/4 tsp almond.
that chocolate frosting was rockin'!
