Wrap me up in love....and cashmere.

Can I gush a moment? Okay, again? About Plucky yarn? Every single time I knit with her yarn I fall in love more and more....each base is uniquely beautiful and knits up like a dream. And the colorways...oh, the colorways...pure artistic genius. Now, I know Miss Sarah and I are girlfriends, but seriously, I would not say this unless I meant it...and boy do I EVAH! Go...quickly. Buy some.

Now, let me share another project knit up with Plucky Yarn. Cashmere, to be exact. I bought this yarn several months back with the idea to make my sister, Sara, a cowl for Christmas.

Oh yummmmmmmmy. This was the softest thing I have ever knit up. My sister told me that she has never felt anything so soft and lovely against her skin. I believe it. I'm so glad I have another skein of this in my stash!

Specs:
Yarn: The Plucky Knitter 2 ply Cashmere Laceweight in Basil Bliss
Needles: Size 8 16" KnitPicks Options Circulars (love these too!)
Pattern: Purl Cashmere Cowl from The Purl Bee blog
Mods: I cast on 110 sts on this...but you could increase or decrease this number based on how large you want the cowl opening to be.

Awww, shucks. You're making me blush.... seriously, I love what you did with the yarn. So glad Sara loved it. Does this mean you are making one for you in the greys?

Oh, and I will be getting more cashmere in stock... yay! I want one for me!

beautiful -- both the work and the yarn itself. i think the gray will be even nicer... like a winter cloud that will just sit around your face.

i hope your buggernut is still enjoying her leapster and it keeps her busy enough to give you a few minutes to knit. have a great new year, amanda!

Beautiful! I have that pattern saved in my queue at Ravelry - yours turned out lovely and now I'm itching to start one! And it will give me the perfect excuse to use one of Sarah's yarns!
